November 2012 was a month for us to remember or rather one we would like to forget.
November saw one of the heaviest bouts of rainfall ever seen in the Axbridge area of Somerset. Abnormally heavy rainfall resulted in torrents of water flowing rapidly from the surrounding hills and through the historic square of Axbridge. Unfortunately, drains couldn’t cope and water entered the ground floor and flooded our lovely Grade II listed building and offices.
Thanks goes to our fantastic team of staff who worked around the clock and tried to save as much as possible from the ground floor.
Through teamwork and dedication, staff moved to other parts of the building and provided clients with continuous and uninterrupted service.
After several months of cleaning , painting and decorating, a new oak floor has been laid and it will almost be time to move staff to their original offices.
Exciting times lay ahead for Enable as plans for the building come to fruition which will bring the building alive.
